  18.        qqlliisstt manages a qqmmaaiill mailing list.

  20.        When  qqlliisstt  receives a message, it looks through the body
  21.        of the message for commands.  WWAARRNNIINNGG:: qqlliisstt looks  for  a
  22.        command only at the beginning of a line.  Exception: qqlliisstt
  23.        also looks at SSuubbjjeecctt lines.

  25.        qqlliisstt supports two commands.  SSUUBBSSCCRRIIBBEE adds  a  new  sub-
  26.        scription  to the mailing list; UUNNSSUUBBSSCCRRIIBBEE removes a sub-
  27.        scription.  qqlliisstt looks for the  subscription  address  in
  28.        the  RReeppllyy--TToo, FFrroomm, or RReettuurrnn--PPaatthh fields in the message.

  30.        qqlliisstt inserts an acknowledgment of each  action  it  took,
  31.        along  with  general  help instructions, into the message.
  32.        It then forwards the message to the subscription  address,
  33.        with a copy to _o_w_n_e_r.

  35.        qqlliisstt's  general help instructions identify _u_s_e_r_-_l_i_s_t_@_h_o_s_t
  36.        as the address of the mailing list, _u_s_e_r_-_l_i_s_t_-_r_e_q_u_e_s_t_@_h_o_s_t
  37.        as  the  address of qqlliisstt itself, and _o_w_n_e_r as the address
  38.        of the mailing list owner.  If _m_o_r_e_i_n_f_o is supplied, it is
  39.        inserted  into  the middle of the instructions, surrounded
  40.        by blank lines.

  42.        qqlliisstt maintains its address list in ..qqmmaaiill--_l_i_s_t,  so  mail
  43.        to  _u_s_e_r_-_l_i_s_t  will  be  forwarded  to  each  subscription
  44.        address.  While qqlliisstt is  editing  ..qqmmaaiill--_l_i_s_t,  it  locks
  45.        ..qqmmaaiill--_l_i_s_t_-_r_e_q_u_e_s_t.   It  uses ..qqtteemmpp--_l_i_s_t as a temporary

  49.        ampersand;  if  you  manually  add  an  address without an
  50.        ampersand, it cannot be removed by qqlliisstt.
